More specifically, the exam will consist of 10 True- False questions and 30 multiple- choice questions (as before, I will most likely include a bonus question). The types of questions asked and the overall difficulty level will be similar to the previous two mid- term exams. Additional Office Hours Please avoid asking complex exam- related questions by e- mail (e.g., something that takes more than a short paragraph or two to answer), especially at the last minute (e.g., the night before the exam). Instead, we (i.e., Akira and your TA) strongly encourage you to come see us after class and/or during the office hours for exam- related questions. If our office hours do not work for you, send us e- mail; we would be happy to make an appointment with you. It would be much easier for us to explain abstract/difficult concepts to you in person; talking in person also allows us to make sure that our explanation was clear to you. To make it easier for you to come ask questions, I’m adding extra office hours before the exam.
