planning, and services. Public hearings are held as necessary to
present capital projects and service planning. Public hearing notices are posted on the DDOT website and published in local newspapers 30 days prior to the scheduled hearing date. The Local Advisory Council for the Disabled and
Elderly Meetings are bi-monthly (Jan., Mar., May, July, Sept., Nov.)
to discuss accessibility planning for disabled and elderly passengers. The meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the designated
months at the DDOT Main O ce, 1301 E. Warren, from 10 am to
noon. Customer Information Meeting Held on the third Thursday of each month from 5 pm to 7 pm at
DDOT’s Main O ce. Meet members of the management team, hear
the latest information on services, and present your comments and
concerns regarding public transportation. DDOT Advisory Commission Meeting Held on the third Wednesday of every month (except July and
August) at the DDOT Main O ce from 10 am to 12 pm. Bikes & Buses Together
Sharing the Road and improving the commute for
work, school, and leisure!
DDOT introduced the Bikes on Buses pilot project in fall 2008 and
is proud to announce that bike racks will soon be available on
all DDOT buses, improving commuters’ travel options. A number
of stationary racks for bike parking will also be installed at high
transfer points along DDOT routes in 2012. Please let us know if
there is a DDOT bus stop near you that could bene t from bike
parking! Remember to always pass buses on the left when cycling
by them on the road.
