(This book may be useful if you have not previously taken a foreign language class.)Prerequisites:NoneCourse Goals and Objectives:The Introductory French Program at the University of Louisvilleis made up of three 4-credit hour courses (French 121, 122 and 123). You’ll work on developingyour basic French grammar and vocabulary, with practice in listening comprehension, speaking,reading, and writing. You’ll also be exposed to the French-speaking cultures which are found allover the globe.As such, the program is aligned both with theStandards for Foreign LanguageLearning in the 21st Centuryand with the Critical Thinking Initiative of the University ofLouisville.
