With the increase of knowledge on how to survive, and the increase in population the English became the people in power and the Indians were now the weaker culture. The Indians were very disturbed by this because the English had used them to get ahead, and now that they were at the top the English were treating the Indians poorly, unlike how the Indians treated the English when they were on top.
