I think it would have been helpful to do a more in-depth explanation on how the oscilloscope worked and what buttons did what on the instrument. We intended to learn how to use the oscilloscope and read the varies wave types given to us on the screen and I feel like I now have a better understanding of the oscilloscope and how it works. Conclusion: Overall, I think that our results between the oscilloscope and multi-meter were fairly accurate. I think the largest source for error in this lab was the inexperience with using the oscilloscope and figuring out how it works. I had no knowledge of how to use this equipment before starting the lab so it took us a good amount of time to get going because we didn’t want to break or damage the equipment. After talking with Prof. Van Donkelaar and having him give us a quick tutorial we were off and running with the exercise. We also had another member of our class come up and guide us in the right direction when Prof. Van Donkelaar was helping another group. It was a team effort to...
