With help from other people the manager must make the standards of his business high and ethical. To do this he or she must overlook the performance of everyone hired and compare their performance to others and evaluate how the employees are faring. If something is wrong special action must be taken like suspending or firing the employee altogether. To make sure it does not happen again, the manager will often evaluate his own performance so the standards can be made with the replacement employee as well as others who are currently working. Managing a business is a skilled position that not everyone can handle with great success. It takes time to master it and help is definitely needed no matter what type of business or company is being run....
