Project name Implementation of Employee Self-Service Software and Portal for Aussie Airlines
Background Because Aussie Airlines workforce is rapidly growing an employee self-service
software is to be developed. This will allow HR staff to focus more on performance
management, recruitment and company culture instead of time consuming
administration tasks. With an increasing number of technological advances, the
corporate world is making a shift towards a self-service environment. To meet the
demand of the changing world and employees needs, a software that allows automate
processes that let employees directly handle functions themselves is being developed
and implemented.
Objectives Streamline employee service information and tasks into an online portal (employee
self-service portal) for employees to access and navigate, saving labor costs and
increasing efficiency. Full access and use of features of the final delivery to be
completed in November 2020.
Project client The project client is Aussie Airlines who have recognized the need for an interactive
employee friendly online employee self-service software to relieve pressure on the HR
department. Due to their rapid expansion, Aussie Airlines HR department is to
immersed in running recruitment drives and performance management that it does not
have the time or manpower to also be managing basic HR related administration tasks.
