Jimmy 1Jimmy MutahiProfessor GopalREL-210RS26 February 2021Rahner and Dominus Lesus ArgumentThe essays by Karl Rahner are about theoretical examinations that cover the issue of anonymous Christians. According to Rahner, anonymous Christians are people who deny God’s existence or fail to profess the Christian faith, yet they are alive through God's grace(Habib, 2015). The theologian believes that being an anonymous Christian does not just occur from beinga human being. He explains in his essays that it is God’s desire for every person to be saved. Rahner insists that human beings cannot be saved by any other gods other than Jesus Christ. He acknowledges that his beliefs are controversial when considered in the context of Catholic theology. However, he explains that the idea of anonymous Christianity is meant to provide a solution for people who do not know God, those who do not hear God's word or those who lived before Jesus Christ came to save humanity.
