Throught he library: North American Theatr online (or something like that) will have lots, if not all of the plays online with a lot of information for them/about them 1/24: “theatre and Art” Theatre/theater: Drama, plays, stage, characters music screenplays entertainment presentation props history blocking scripts/texts lighting costumes directing audience music spectacle atmosphere enjoyment art passion life dancing monologue culture emotions Theater is a physical place, with sometimes a stage And theatre is the drama, function, form of the art (text, play, production, complete spontaneous event) - this is more about the work of live theatre production/performance - it is a practiced and collaborative art form How do we understand and define art as human beings: - art is generally an expression, something that takes up a particular skill - may be created for pleasure - the bottomline is the imitation of something real or imagined. (natural or fictional)
