Please provide a sound reasoning to back up your claim. It is assumed that the bone is isotropic because it is easier to predict/calculate the behavior of the material. Due to the uniformity in all directions, the applied load acts equally no matter what orientation you decide to put force on, which greatly simplifies our calculation.
