Kawahara 2 Throughout the span of this course, I have learned many interesting and useful tools relat- ing to my personal business and managerial development. I have learned about different busi- ness environments, how economics effect a business, business ethics, and many other valuable facets of entrepreneurship. Something that is striking to me is how these different topics factor into real life and into my future as a business owner. Often times, different courses and educa- tional environments seem to be merely academically focused and inapplicable to real life. However, I enjoy learning how to apply the ideas I’m learning in this course to my career. In the future, I know that I will apply these various facets of this course to my own personal business development. Since I was young, I have always wanted to have my own personal business. Because my parents started their own small business, I have witnessed and experienced first-handedly both the rewards and the struggles of being a entrepreneur. As a future business owner, I want to operate my own assisted living home for the elderly. I want to own my own business so that I can run my assisted living home to my own standards and offer the patients the best care pos- sible. However, the business environment plays a huge role in the success or failure of any small business or entrepreneurship.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
