The first proposal will provide an individual focus forprogram design.These instructions (please see proposalinstructions below)describe the components that should be included with the proposals.You will select a target population, a program delivery environment, anda specific prevention area of interest.Proposals must adhere to APA format and be approximately 8-15 pages+ title page, abstract, references and appendices.READ THE BELOW DETAILS CAREFULLY BEFORE PROCEEDING.’Designing and Adapting Preventive InterventionsProposals for Designing and Adapting Prevention Interventions:Students will develop proposals forthree prevention programs/interventions, which integrate the components below. Each proposal musthighlight a different population and prevention focus. A proposal will be completed during each five-weekperiod of the semester: week 5, week 10, and week 15. Proposals must adhere to APA format and beapproximately 15 pages + title page, abstract, references and appendices.Students will adopt, adapt, and design a prevention intervention based on existing, evidence-based program, strategies, policies and/or frameworks. Students will select the followingcomponents when developing the proposals; a target population category, a specific environments and aprevention focus for each intervention. Each proposal is to consider different components. In addition,each proposal should align with a different prevention strategy.
