This exam is due by 11:59pm EST Friday, 12 February 2021 . It is not a timed exam, i.e. you have a full week to write it from start to finish. Please note that this course institutes the principles of universal design into this assessment, which allows for all students, including those writing in different time zones and with approved accessible education accommodations, equal opportunity to complete the exam. No extra time or extensions will be granted . Ensure that you allow for ample time in which to complete and submit this exam. Students are asked to write their answers directly on the exam and save it as a single Word doc file with your full name included in the file name . Student responses should follow essay-style type-written format, i.e. full sentences and paragraphs, 12 pt. font, double-spaced. Avoid using direct quotations, i.e. paraphrase (summarize in your own words) wherever possible and cite the original source of the information. Details and evidence from the course materials to support your answers are essential. Keep in mind that some terms are covered in lectures and readings from more than one week. Citations are required . Cite examples and details as footnotes in Chicago Style format only (ie, not in-text citations). No outside sources are permitted. This is an examination of your knowledge of information shared in THIS course. Material taken from outside the course will not receive credit .
2 Submit your file through the "Midterm Exam" assignment under the “Exams’ tab on the OWL course website. Take note that OWL can freeze up when there is a spike in submissions, so do not leave your submission to the last minute. As per university policy, submissions must be screened by Turnitin for plagiarism checking. Wait until you receive confirmation from OWL that your exam has been successfully uploaded before logging out. Please do not email your exam to the professor. It must be uploaded through OWL to be graded.
