When the amount of attention and time spent lookingat a piece of artwork is considered, it becomes clear that Styx’s presence on campus willoffer a much richer and long lasting experience. Styx can be viewed day or night, springor summer, fall or winter, when one is feeling happy, angry, down. Above all this, thesculpture always offers the audience a chance to experience its form, texture and balancein a countless number of ways.I myself hadn’t realized this unique experience that Styx offers until starting thisassignment. Sadly after viewing it a couple of times after walking onto campus, it neverreally stood out to me anymore, it just became a part of the scenery. However once Istopped and observed Styx, I learned many new things. Looking at Styx from the North
