For example: n The state with the lowest graduation rate (Nevada) also offers the largest number of options (seven); n Three states (Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi) offer an Occupational/Vocational diploma which is available only to students with disabilities. These states award students with disabilities a regular diploma at lower rates than the nationwide rate; n Eight states offer an IEP/Special Education diploma (Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New York, Virginia, and West Virginia). All of these states have graduation rates at or below the nationwide rate except Connecticut.
