T he need for students to earn a high school diploma has never been greater. Nearly 90 percent of the fastest-growing, highest-paying jobs require some sort of education beyond high school. The nation has recognized this pressing need and answered with initiatives designed to keep students in school, increase the graduation rate, and expand access to job training and postsecondary education.
