Purpose of experiment The purpose of this experiment is to observe the basic operation of a MOSFET inverter circuit and an amplifier circuit. Model numbers of equipment used Hewlett-Packard HPE3631A Power Supply Hewlett-Packard HP34401A Multimeter Hewlett-Packard HP33120A Function Generator Agilent 546220 Mixed Signal Oscilloscope Jameco JE24 Breadboard Block Diagram Amplifier Circuit: Inverter Circuit: Circuit Schematic Amplifier Circuit:

Inverter Circuit: Test Procedure Amplifier: The amplifier circuit shown above was constructed on the breadboard, and the power supplies, function generator, and oscilloscope were attached as shown in the block diagram. The drain voltage V DD was set to 18V, and the function generator set to a 20kHz sinewave with no offset. The amplitude was adjusted until 200mV pp was measured at the oscilloscope input, and the peak-to-peak output voltage was recorded. The amplitude was adjusted for 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900 and 1000mV
