side when communicating with someone. An experience that I had in relation to my personal intention would
be when I worked as tutor during high school. I had asked my employer for a day off because I had a sick
family member, but when communicating she understood that I was taking the week off. In essence, I was
not clear when communicating with my employer and I left her with questions which resulted in her assuming
that I wanted to take the week off from work. I could have avoided this situation if I had clearly stated what I
needed. Situations like this are the kind that I would like to avoid and therefore look forward to learning how
to effectively and efficiently communicate....
