resources, students can obtain jobs and internships to
gain experience and try out career options. By graduation, students are ultimately prepared for the transition
from college to the work world or continuing education.
Our expertise, personal attention, and dedication are
targeted at helping students ﬁnd careers and not just
jobs. University Career Services offers the following
programs, services, and resources:
I careers.gmu.edu: The Career Services website includes
information for students, employers, faculty, and parents. A list of upcoming events and links to many selfhelp career planning and job search resources can also
be found on the site.
I PatriotJobWeb (PJW): Mason’s personalized internship and job search engine is available 24/7 and is free
to currently enrolled students. PJW is updated daily.
Registration is required.
I Workshops, credit courses, events, and appointments:
University Career Services’ staff provides career assessments, job search advice, and counseling to help students identify a career and develop a plan to achieve it.
