For savings, meal plans offer tax-exempt dining, and, for convenience, they can be accessed with your Mason ID card. To meet nutritional needs and experience campus life to the fullest, students living on campus are required to participate in the resident meal plan program. As stated in the housing dining agreements, freshmen may select from either of the traditional or block plans. Seniors, resident advisors, and upper-level students living in areas with full kitchen facilities are exempt. These areas include the apartments, Liberty Square, Northern Neck, Potomac Heights, and the townhouses.
