Buchanan Center for Political Economy, and the Institute for Humane Studies— independent initiatives affiliated with the university. The Center for Global Studies; the Center for Justice, Law, and Society; the Critical Infrastructure Protection Program; the Interdisciplinary Center for Economic Science, and the Interdisciplinary Center for Regional Economic Competitiveness are also located at the Arlington Campus. The Arlington Campus is located near Washington, D.C., on 5.2 acres. Mason’s most urban location, the campus offers convenient access via Metro and key transportation routes.
