The University Police maintains a close working relationship with the Virginia State Police and other surrounding jurisdictions, including the Arlington County, Fairfax City, Fairfax County, and Prince William County Police Departments. The University Police has access to a national database to report and review crime data. In addition, the University Police monthly reports its crime statistics to the Virginia State Police for inclusion in the National Incidentbased Reporting System compiled by the FBI. The University Police headquarters is located on the Fairfax Campus in the Police and Safety Building in front of the Rappahannock Parking Deck, 703-993-2810. In case of an emergency, dial 911.
