Alternatively, students and staff can dial in directly to the ITU’s modem banks at 703-426-2468 (Fairfax area) or 703-392-7468 (Manassas area). These modems support up to 56K analog PPP connections and can be used by anyone having an active Mason academic research system (mason.gmu.edu) account. Please note: Internet access is not available through the ITU modems, but you are able to connect to most servers at Mason, including e-mail (mail.gmu.edu.) Residence Hall Services Residents in on-campus housing can connect directly to the Mason network and the Internet from their rooms.
