Its primary purposes are to foster engagement, build community, establish tradition, and increase retention through four main initiatives: undergraduate orientation, student outreach programs, family outreach, and leadership development. All of the programs provided are designed to facilitate the social and academic acclimation process for students and their families, specifically during their first year.
