Brian Federico Federico 1 Professor Olivier FS 111-003 Sept. 17th, 2006 Journal Write #3 This week’s journal entry deals with eating disorders, unhealthy lifestyle choices and the connection between alcohol and sexual irresponsibility. Eating problems can stem from overeating, not eating, binging and vomiting, and from sneaking junk food everyday. I believe that there are several factors which lead to these eating problems. Overeating is very prominent among people who are obese, and this problem often stems from turning to food as a comfort due to wild emotions, boredom, or just not knowing how to control one’s appetite. Anorexia and Bulimia are two eating disorders mostly associated with younger women who obsess over staying thin. They believe that their figure is the most important thing and they need to not eat because food works against them. Finally, people sneak junk food usually because they have told someone that they will try to give it up but they just do not have the willpower to go a day without the tasty
