Greg Dobson World Hunger Reflection 3/30/08 Burkina Faso A . My contributions to the project were the plans for Immediate Relief in Burkina Faso. My plans consisted of the immediate actions, anticipated barriers, goals, as well as an eight step plan to develop a sustainable organic farming plot. The actions I proposed were to redistribute the land to be based on population density, gather political support, develop a plan for establishing sustainable organic farming, build one sustainable plot with that plan, minimize costs, and minimize population growth. The barriers (solutions in parenthesis) I anticipated were droughts (utilize drip irrigation method), locusts (natural repellents ie torches, crops) , lack of funding (sponsors such as the AGRA) , and equipment expense issues (use simplified drip irrigation system built with natural resources such as bamboo rather than the funds from sponsors). The goal of our immediate relief plan in Burkina Faso was to gather the support of citizens by providing a
