Experiment 22: Synthesis and analysis of Aspirin and Oil of Wintergreen Heather Wilson Chem 1CL 12/3/2007 Introduction In this experiment, my lab group synthesized aspirin and oil of wintergreen, purified the aspiring, and subjected it to tests to determine its purity, melting point, and percent yield.
