Philosophs generally deists, don’t buy in to a particular religion King Louis XV censored  Encyclopedie,  a book that marks the first attempt of the  philosophs to quantify knowledge, put it in rational entries.  The  Encyclopedie  was much  larger in scope than modern encyclopedias.
