We are living and working in a global economy, one that is increasingly integrated and complex. In our globalized world, corporations may be as large as nations in terms of economic and social impact. Events affect even small businesses directly, including decisions and opportunities that occur elsewhere. This course will analyze the changing expectations and relationships between businesses and society. Topics will include the role of corporations in society; business and government in a global society; impacts of technological and social changes; building relationships with various stakeholders; business and ethical considerations.
