example, the second item has
indexing supplied by the
publisher [PubMed – as
supplied by the publisher],
while the third item is in the
process of being indexed by
PubMed [PubMed – in process].
Make certain to look at this
feature, as the status of the article
may affect the ability to retrieve
items in full text.
10. Another descriptor may be
MEDLINE, meaning the article
has been indexed.
11. In some cases, the article may be
part of a sub-set available
through PubMedCentral which
does not require access through a
subscription database. It will
have the designations of Free
PMC Article Free Text.
