Be as specific as possible and make sure to identify the significance of each term. John Calvin: John Calvin was a french author during the Protestant Reformation. He was the creator of Calvinism, which was focused on God and predestination. John Locke: Not the character from Lost. He was a philosopher in 17th century England. He is known for believing in the natural rights of life, liberty, and property. Mercantilism: Mercantilism is focused on the benefits and profitability of trading. It was really popular in the 17th century in England. Seven Years War: The Seven Years War was a war between France and Britain in the 18th century. It ended with a British victory and the signing of the Treaty of Paris. The French had to surrender a ton of land due to their loss. Importantly to us they lost Louisiana in the process.
