Bill Ferrari Honors World History Mr. Tamburro June 7, 2012 Holocaust Images Reaction The Holocaust was one of the most horrific events in human history. The pain and suffering that the victims endured is unbelievable. Through detailed records and photographs taken by the Germans we know, more than ever, what happened in those camps during this terrible event. We are able to learn through survivor stories and books that they would be rounded up and must form a line at the concentration camps. If you were old or weak or sick you would be killed or taken away to the death camps immediately and you were skilled they would keep you to do important tasks like build ammunition. Before you are taken away they take all of your clothes and items and sort them out. One of the most revealing photographs shows a huge pile of hairbrushes taken from women and little girls. It just shows you how many people were in the camps and how little respect they gave them. After you pass the initial check you are given a place to sleep and a job, at any time
