Review of Literature 1. Mitja Gorenak,Marko Ferjan (2015) in their study titled “The influence of organisational values on competencies of managers”, discussed the influence of organizational values on managers’ competencies of travel and leisure industry , where 1100 employees were surveyed. Data were analysed using Correlation. The study indicated that organizational values have a strong influence on managers’ competencies. This also to some extent supports the idea of managing by values where managing of organizations is focused on organizational values and every decision is done through the scope of these values. 2. Maria-Ana Georgescua (2012), in their paper titled “Business ethics and organizational values in Romanian enterprises” aimed to identify the relationship between the ethical values and the organizational culture. It is based on a survey of 148 managers and lower level employees who work in organisation in the regional business environment of Romania. Frequency analysis was used to analyse the data. The study concluded that ethical values are connected, through the organizational culture, to the size of the enterprise. Big organisations are more likely to have elaborated written ethical codes within a strategic vision and their employees acknowledge this aspect, compared with small organisation and their workers. 3. Mark A. Farrell (2009) in the study “Developing a Market Oriented Learning Organisation” studied the constructs of organisational change strategies, market orientation, top management behaviour, leadership style, learning orientation and business performance. The survey was conducted among the employees of 2000 organisations in Australia. Data were analysed using two stage least squares regression (2SLS). The study indicated that a market orientation is positively related to a learning orientation and that a learning orientation has a stronger significant positive effect on business performance than on market orientation. 4. Tammara Petrill (2013) in the paper titled “The Effect of Personal Values, Organizational Values, and Person-Organization Fit on Ethical Behaviours and Organizational Commitment Outcomes Among Substance Abuse Counsellors: A Preliminary Investigation” attempted to examine value congruence, values, and its influence on perceived ethical work behaviour and organizational commitment of substance abuse. Statistical tools such as means, standard deviations, reliability test , multiple regressions, and correlation were used for analysis. The findings of the study
showed that personal values, organizational values, and the congruence of these values do affect ethical work behaviour and organizational commitment. 5. Mitja Gorenak, Suzana Kosir(2012) in their study “The Importance Of Organizational Values For Organization” aimed to examine if there is any influence of how organizational values on factors. The research based on a survey made between 303 companies in Slovenia. Correlation was used. The study proved that there are
