Canales IT/205 October 4, 2013 Chester Grice 2 CheckPoint: Analysis of Electronic Payment Systems There are three types of e-commerce transaction classifications. The first is Business-to- consumer, which involves a business retailing products and services to a single shopper. The next classification is Business-to-business, this involves a sale of goods or services from one business to another. The third classification is consumer-to-consumer, which involves a person selling goods to another person. For example, if I sold a TV on eBay and someone purchased the item from me that would be a consumer-to-consumer transaction. There are also different types of electronic payment systems; online credit card payment system, electronic check system, electronic cash system, and smart card-based electronic payment system.
