World History – Semester 2 v3.0 Unit 4 Activity: Task 2 30 points Task 2: Identifying Modern Historical Villains This task is similar to the one you just completed. In this task you will choose a leader you think is a historical villain. Here is the list of historical figures you studied in this unit. Again, you can choose any leader you studied in this unit, but be prepared to justify your selection. Mohandas Gandhi Mao Zedong Nelson Mandela Augusto Pinochet Gamal Abdel Nasser Saddam Hussein You will answer the same questions as in the previous task, but this time you will explain what makes the leader you selected a villain. Each answer should be three to five sentences in length. Part A Which individual from the unit would you consider to be a villain in modern history? Include some background information about this villain, including where and when the individual served as a leader.
Part B What did this person do to be considered a villain? In your answer, list at least three of the villain’s actions and
