IP Team Process Analysis Paper
This fall semester, I worked with five other classmates as a consulting team for the
company, Pier 1 Imports. As a group we worked successfully, completely all deliverables on time
without serious disagreements that could have been detrimental to the effectiveness of our team.
We gave each member in our team roles on what we though best fit each other but as the
semester went on these roles changed from person to person to continue fairness within the
group. Also, we always had an idea as to what tasks we needed to complete beforehand. To
complete team projects we used pooled interdependence which allowed us to work separately on
different parts of the deliverable and then combine everything we had into one completed work.
We also used reciprocal interdependence within our group at team meetings where we would all
work together on projects while in the room together.
