Responses are considered interpretations of an individual’s personality. Hypotheses about the client’s personality are checked against his or her responses to other cards. Personality Measurements ✤ Projective measures – explore the unconscious by having a person describe or tell stories about an ambiguous stimulus Thematic Apperception Test (TAT) People are presented with a scene on a card & asked to make up a story based on the scene. The story includes what is going on, the thoughts & feelings of the people in the scene, what lead to the scene, & the outcome.
