1. a) John Deere b) 8360R c) 360 horsepower, found no mention of biofuel capability. Engine specs said to use ultra low sulfur diesel only. d) The reason I chose to look more into the 8360R is mostly because of the engine. This tractor meets IT4 emission standards and what I like about the Deere tractors is that they still don’t use DEF. The engine uses a compound turbo system; one large variable geometry turbo is used, along with another fixed geometry turbo. This engine really spools up into its power band quick. The twin turbos also give the engine a very broad torque curve, which gives it great lugging ability. This tractor also makes some serious horsepower. It has 305 horsepower at the PTO, which is Deere’s first row-crop tractor to break 300 horses at the PTO. e) There are not a whole lot of big complaints out there on the 8360R most likely because of how new it is. But, one problem that I did see someone say was that it really sucks down the diesel. I took a look at Nebraska test results and yes it really does use quite a bit of fuel.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
