Christopher 1 Taylor Christopher Professor Johnson SP12 MUH100 SEC3 April 27, 2012 Concert Report #4 For my fourth and final report, I attended Point Loma Nazarene University’s (Department of Music) Chamber Orchestra concert on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 7:30p.m. The event occurred at Crill Performance Hall of the Cooper Music Center on the Point Loma Nazarene University campus in San Diego, California. Under the conduction of director Dr. Philip Tyler, the chamber orchestra entertained their audience for 70 minutes (approximately finished at 8:40p.m.) with six lovely pieces. The first three pieces performed were Henryk Wieniawski’s (1835-1880) Concerto No. 2 in D Minor, Op. 22 (I. Allegro moderato) accompanied by Alexander Carlson on the violin, Franz Joseph Haydn’s (1732-1809) Concerto in C Major, Hob. VI b: I (I. Moderato) accompan- ied by Patrick Hudson on the cello, and Haydn’s Concerto in E-flat Major, Hob. VII e, (I. Al- legro) accompanied by Marc Keehmer on the trumpet. Following a brief intermission, the re- maining three numbers included Henryk Gorecki’s (1933-2010) Symphony No. 3, Op. 36

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
