Christopher 1 Taylor Christopher Professor Johnson SP12 MUH100 SEC3 April 14, 2012 Concert Report #2 For my second concert report, I attended a local professional lecture performance with or- chestra on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at the Balboa Theatre in downtown San Diego, CA (868 Fourth Avenue, San Diego, CA 92101) that featured the music of American composer Aaron Co- pland. This one hour concert, which occurred just 6.5 miles from Point Loma Nazarene Uni- versity, began at 9:30A.M. and approximately finished at 10:30A.M. The performances also took place at 11:30A.M. the same morning. The performances displayed a variety of instruments spe- cifically string instruments in addition to four colorfully-dressed, young female dancers and props such as boxes designed to appear as bricks in which the dancers used to construct a house during the performances. There was a young female hostess that introduced the cast of per- formers and explained the significance behind each event to an audience full of elementary
