Professor Hartman November 6, 2013 1. There are many challenges involved in trying to create an effective team in an organization that is primarily staffed by independent contractors. One is pulling different resources from different expertise and trying to make all these people work cohesively together. Since this is a travel agency, the best and cheapest people for the job can come from any part of the world. There can be a lot of miscommunication between people that haven’t been working together for an extended period of time especially if each person’s style of writing and collaborating don’t mesh well together. Managers can deal with these challenges by having face to face interviews with a contractor before hiring them to judge who would fit well into the position available. Another way is to always have an open and easy form of communication between the contractors so they can freely ask questions and throw out ideas.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
