Professor Murrell 11/15/12 Hinduism Movie Review In this very informational video on the Hindu religion, the narrator does a very good job of explaining Hinduism and walking through the religion in a way the viewer can understand. The narrator in the film kept his approach chronological for the most part and explained how Hinduism started in ancient times, and how it has transformed and evolved throughout time. The film made it very evident that the Hindu faith has a large following. It is also very clear from the movie that there are many different aspects of Hinduism, and many different paths you can take regarding Hinduism. This very fact makes the religion a little harder to understand due to the fact that it is very different from the traditional term of “religion”. According to the video Hinduism is one of the oldest recorded religions, and has been the root for a couple other religions such as Buddhism and Jainism.
