Fairbanks Aja Fairbanks February 20, 2014 Mktg 330 How might the Just Noticeable Difference apply to the following situations? •Radio advertising- The marketing implications that provide value to consumers could be applied to radio advertising. Among the marketing implications that could be applied are pricing and quality. Most radio advertising that occurs between on-air commercials must be paid for unless a strong partnership exits between the station and the advertiser. However, the advertisement is likely to be entertaining and informative rather than costly on the consumer’s part. Quality is always important. A consumer can differentiate two products or services by the value that it provides. For example, radio advertising reflects the radio station that airs the advertisement and the firm that created the ad.
