Josh Eusebio & Carlos. 10.16.13 Section: Whose Tree is Better? Although we worked on our tree for an excruciating two and a half hours we believe that the ‘scientists’ approach to the tree is far superior. Some of the super basic reasons why we think that their tree is superior is because: 1) They are actual scientists who probably spent countless hours if not days preparing the tree. 2) They probably have a better understanding of what they are looking at. Some actual reasons why we think their tree is better are because they had more precise character traits they used to compare their species to. When Carlos and I started and were asked to write down character traits to compare the species to, we went with the most simple and basic ones because that is

Another reason why their tree is better is because they probably had a far superior understanding of the species they were looking at. Carlos and I barely knew the basics of the species that we studied. These scientists probably had a more in depth understanding of what a crayfish was thus allowing them to characterize them more accurately. Another reason why their diagram was better was because it went more into depth. Our tree was basically a diagonal line with taxons jutting out of it with semi-correct placement of species, while their tree was much more characterized and correct compared to ours....

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
