Core Value Paper Josh Eusebio Over this past year or so I have learned that I am really blessed. And to be honest all this has done is make me confused. I constantly struggle with the feeling that I do not deserve anything that I have been blessed with. At all. But in all of these times of struggles I have learned that Gods love for me is something I can never understand. God’s love is not fair. We do not deserve it, but he freely gives it. This is my vocation. God freely gives us love, so I want to freely give away love as well. Caring for the hopeless and helpless has been a tug on my heartstrings for a while now and I have decided to pursue a career that allows me to work with patients that are sick. I am majoring in Family Consumer Sciences and striving to become a Dietician. I want to work in a Children’s Hospital, and help little children who are sick. I also want to work

I have noticed that food is a huge way we show love in our culture. What do you offer someone who is begging on the street? A meal. How about when you celebrate a birthday? Food. I think working with a child that is sick and examining their diet, and providing food for them that will help them recover as well as giving them food that sustains them is something that I would love to do. The idea of working with someone that needs help just makes me excited. To be completely honest I don’t even know if this is the road God wants me to travel, but for the time being my heart is absolutely stoked to possible do this as a career....
