courts there are a great deal of individuals that are consistently in and out of prison as a result of inabilities or unwillingness’ to rehabilitate and become contributing members of society. The application of diversion in the juvenile justice system is understood to have been implemented in an effort to save children from the harsher punishments of which are delved out in criminal courts. In my opinion, diversion tactics are appropriate when applied to first time juvenile
