HuffPost Meeting During the meeting, Brandon Diamond the director of HuffPost gave an introduction of himself, how he became the director of HuffPost, the steps he took, life experiences and new programming languages, such as Clojure, Erlang, and Haskell. Also Brandon Diamond mentioned that there are positions currently open with HuffPost and encourage us (NYIT students) to apply. He showed us the website, which is code.huffingtonpost.com, the images his team created, the ways how HuffPost presenting news this era of technologies. He also mentions the projects they are currently working on, widgets for phones, and sensor of what part of the news article readers touch the most. One thing attracted me the most during the meeting was the opportunities to learn new programming languages, I have never heard of Clojure, Erlang, and Haskell. Brandon Diamond’s speech brought into a research on all these new languages.
