Feedback from Survey Writing Process Hard to choose an effective way to administer surveys Make sure you differentiate between sampling methods and administration methods o It’s almost more important to have a good sampling method than an administration method How do I keep questions concise? o What am I using the question for? What is it answering? o Can I relate it back to the objective? o Do this for each question. o Is the question clear/easy to understand? (eval) Objective should describe what the survey’s intention is going to be to professor (in this case), the pilot group (person evaluating), and ultimately the respondent (cover letter/intro paragraph). Correlation & Regression Relationship Causation Correlation First part – looking at what kind of relationship does X have with Y? How do we do this? The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
