Graves 1 001404918 EN 112305 Professor McCormack 5 November 2011 The Failure of Fatherhood: Three Solutions Fathers can be the center of a child’s world; they are heroes and best friends. But, there are fathers that have definite issues in today’s society. Taking care of children can be a full time job and it’s not a cheap one either. Some fathers are not financially stable enough to handle the responsibility of children, but on the other side sometimes fathers worry too much about being financially stable and they work all the time. This can be really hard on children because they don’t get to spend time with their father, or get to know them. A child not being close to their father can be hard; some fathers don’t know how to have a close relationship with their children. When someone grows up in a household where love and affections are not shown, the child will grow up thinking that’s the way every household is. They never get a chance to be affectionate to their parents or children. These are just some of the ways that fathers in todays’ society can fail to fulfill their job. Reb Saunder’s as the Solution Reb Saunders had a very unique way of raising his children; some would even say that he was wrong in the way that he did it. He brought his son Danny up in
