Candace Graves Taryn Kritz September 6, 2011 Freshman Fanfare/Follies Word Count This week the freshmen have begun working on freshman fanfare. At first I was not sure if I was going to like being in the freshman fanfare performance. But now that I have been to the practices I think that I am really going to like it. The practices are really fun. It’s a really great way to meet other freshmen that I haven’t gotten the chance to meet. The show is going to be really fun, as well as the practices. And I can’t wait to keep working on the show with everyone. I also went to the first week follies show last week. I had an amazing time at the show. It was hilarious to see my teachers in that light. Unformatted text preview: expect going into it, but I had a great time! I never thought that I would laugh so hard at my teachers. The admissions team did a great performance where they were wearing glow sticks, and it was so good. Mr. McCook, my history teacher, did a fabulous Gaga performance; it was absolutely hilarious. I couldn’t stop laughing the whole time. I was so glad that I got the chance to see my teachers like that. It really made me realize that they really are normal people. And made me see them in a totally new way. Getting the chance to go to all of these events on campus were really great, and made me feel more connected to the campus....
